Lilly

It has been a very sad day today. We lost our Lilly.

She had been with us for a lot of years. None of the kids can really remember a time when she didn't live with us. She was with us in Gulf Breeze. She traveled all over with us during our Hurricane Ivan evacuation. She was there as we picked up the pieces afterwards. She's gone for walks with us and on camping trips. She joined in as we started our homesteading adventure.

She will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our furry friends become part of the family in every way, pretty much, don't they.

Aw, I'm sorry. I was already married when the Golden that we grew up with passed away, and it was still hard. It's amazing how much they become a part of our lives. I'll be praying for the kids.

I'm so sorry. Last month we lost our 13-year-old black Lab. Sometimes I still can't believe she's gone. But it gets better with time, I guess.

Dear Deborah, I'm so sorry for your loss. I could not believe I dropped in to visit your blog (all too infequently) and read this sad post. You see, yesterday my little dog suddenly became gravely ill. We took her to the vet who diagnosed a heart problem. We will have her on meds for a few days to see if there's any improvement but I know these are her last days. She would be 14yo next month. She is resting peacefully at the moment but not eating or moving at all. I pray God will take her quietly as she rests.
I really feel your loss. God love you all. (((hugs))) Dot.
